Long story short, this last two weeks has been pretty intense. Between a tremendous amount of work for school, work for work, and the occasional bump in the road of family and personal life – thinking about what I was eating was pretty far down on my list of priorities. I highly doubted that I’d be down anything on Sunday when I stepped on the scale, when much to my surprise, I’d lost another 1.8 pounds!
How does that kind of thing happen? I’m totally the girl who throws caution and moderation to the wind when I’m feeling happy OR sad – and for this totally different result to have come my way, it caused me a moment of pause.
During the last month, I’ve worked with Anna and Ilya on establishing a food pattern that will work with training for two upcoming marathons. In the past, I’ve always gained weight while training – overcompensating for my calorie burn. They’ve armed me with a pantry full of Trim360 food, and I’ve cleared pretty much everything that doesn’t fall into the category of balanced nutrition with quality protein content, out of my place.
During a week when I customarily might eat all the bad stuff in my cabinet – my only options were good things. I also focused on exercise, established a rocking/ inspirational play list, and kept my emotions in check, while not worrying too much about the food but using my Trim360 meal replacements as a tool to keep on track.
In pretty short order my habits had actually changed for the better, and enough to get me through the occasional curves that life throws my way.
I also relied on a strong support network – my village – as I call it on www.CautionCurvesAhead.com . My trainers, friends and family all became sources of good choices.
So there ya go! Even on a tough week, when armed with a fridge and cabinet full of good food and obviously Trim360 food, pretty much any week can be a weight loss week!
Who’s with me?
